Policies & Fees
Important information for prospective and existing clients. Want to learn more? Please see below for more information.
What to expect during your first 60-minute intake session:
In the initial session, we will review paperwork and explore your past and present to understand how you hope therapy will be helpful. We will review your history, identity, symptoms, relational dynamics, and functioning. While it is important to fully review these vulnerable details of life it can feel overwhelming. The pace of sharing is led by your comfort level and it is always ok to let me know if you aren’t ready to disclose something.
Insurance
I am in network with Pacific Source Commercial Plans (Navigator and Voyager), OHP (Pacific Source Community Solutions), and Medicare (federal plan Part B and Pacific Source Advantage). I also work with individuals who pay the cash rate or are claiming out-of-network benefits. Clients paying out of pocket or using out-of-network benefits will be responsible to pay the full rate of therapy at the time of the visit. I am happy to provide a statement or superbill that you can submit to your insurance for reimbursement. Please feel free to contact your insurance company for information regarding benefits with an out-of-network provider.
Payment
You can pay by credit card or check. I require all new clients to have a credit card on file even if you are not paying by credit card. Payment will be collected at the end of every session and I will not be able to schedule additional sessions if you have more than two outstanding payments.
Session Fees
Sessions are $220 for one hour sessions. I am not offering a sliding scale option at this time.
Cancellation Policy
If you need to reschedule, I request that you let me know at least 24 hours before our session. If you do not show up for our session or you cancel in less than 24 hours in advance, I charge a late cancellation fee of $115. If you have a personal emergency or another immediate and unexpected situation or if we can reschedule to another time in the week I do not charge the fee.
Client Forms
I will send you the link to the client portal if you are a new client. Please make sure that you fill out all of the documents prior to your first session. If you have any questions about any of the paperwork, we can discuss it during our first session.
Contact Between Sessions
For established clients, you can reach me during normal business hours via phone. For non-urgent matters, your call will be returned in the next business day Tuesday through Friday. If it is an urgent matter, please leave a message and I will do my best to get in touch with you within that day. If it is a true emergency please contact 911 or if needing crisis support please call 541-687-4000 or call or text 988.
If I am away for an extended period of time, I will offer an emergency contact for current clients. You are also free to email or text regarding scheduling changes but clinical discussions or treatment conversations are not recommended via email. Email is not a confidential platform, for that reason voicemail is preferred.
Notice to Clients and Prospective Clients:
Under the law, health care providers need to give clients who don’t have insurance or who are not using insurance an estimate of the expected charges for medical services, including psychotherapy and evaluation services.
You have the right to receive a Good Faith Estimate for the total expected cost of any non-emergency healthcare services, including psychotherapy and evaluation services.
You can ask your health care provider, and any other provider you choose, for a Good Faith Estimate before you schedule a service, or at any time during treatment.
If you receive a bill that is at least $400 more than your Good Faith Estimate, you can dispute the bill. Make sure to save a copy or picture of your Good Faith Estimate.
For questions or more information about your right to a Good Faith Estimate, or how to dispute a bill, see your Estimate, or visit www.cms.gov/nosurprises
